2019 Election: Ijaws in Delta describes Okowa as people governor, assures of Bomadi local govt. Support come 2019

Bomadi Local Government Chairman, Hon. Williams Angagi has described Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as the peoples governor who is committed to the development of the state irrespective of tribes or ethnicity.

Hon. Angagi gave the remarks when he received the Team S.M.A.R.T sensitization tour in the local government area on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in Bomadi.
Hon. Williams Angadi who personally welcomed and received the Team, expressed gratitude for the good work Team S.M.A.R.T has embarked on. He noted that Team S.M.A.R.T has contributed immensely in sensitizing the people, stating that this has made it easier for them and the governor to have a smooth sail come 2019.
Hon. Angagi also stated that the government of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa having performed very well in the areas of infracstructural development and human capital development as enshrined in his SMART Agenda manifestoes, it is necessary for the grassroot people to be fully briefed on the administration achievements.
“The governor performance is speaking for him, and by the grace of God Bomadi is totally for OKOWA 2019, he said.”
Speaking in line the executive chairman’s speech,  the Secretary to the Local Government thanked members of the Team  led by the DG, Hon. Orishedere Sunny. He said the elected/appointed officers of the council have learnt a lot from the interactive session and have also lend them the opportunity to have a better understanding of key government policies and program as well as the governor’s S.M.A.R.T AGENDA in particular.
The Director-General of Team S.M.A.R.T for Okowa,  Hon. Orishedere Sunny who spoke on behalf of members told the audience that the sensitization is very necessary as all elected/appointed officers at the local government have important role to play. He said it is not just telling the people that the government has done very well but to also show the electorates what has been done and the future plans of the government.
Hon. Orishedere maintained that what is on ground presently is a tip of the iceberg promising that if Governor Okowa come back in 2019, he surprise Deltans.
The SMART boss further stated that he is so optimistic that Deltans will benefit a lots from the Okowa administration in the years ahead. He stated that one way the governor can be appreciated or encouraged is to vote massively for him come 2019. “The task of OKOWA re-election by the grace of God is everyone’s responsibility”, he stated.
Highpoint of the sensitization tour was the presentation and distribution of copies of S.M.A.R.T DIGEST,  a compendium of the S.M.A.R.T AGENDA successes and achievements to the local government chairman.
Some dignitaries who attended the event includes, Barr. Frank Osafile, the Team SMART Secretary, Patrick Nwaoba, Frank Anukwu members of the  Executive, Legislators, Supervisors, Heads of Departments, NULGE, NUT and the Civil society.
